Point A analysis: understand what is holding growth back.

Are sales slowing, profits lagging behind revenue or market entry stalling? We review the product, customers, economics and team, identify the main constraint and build a practical next-step plan.

We will discuss one issue and identify a next step. Analysis and implementation are scoped separately.

Your challenge
Sales or profit are not growing, and the cause is unclear.
What we will do
We will review the customer journey, data and seven GRI areas, identify the main constraint and choose what to test first.
What you will get
A priority challenge, baseline metrics and a 30 / 60 / 90-day plan with a first experiment.

What you receive after the analysis

Six connected outputs. We will agree the depth and scope around your challenge and the available data.

  1. 01Gather evidence
  2. 02Check context
  3. 03Choose priorities
  4. 04Agree a plan
01

Company profile

Goals, product, team, workflows and completeness of inputs.

02

Market map

Demand, competitors, microsegments and sources for material findings.

03

GRI findings

A seven-area profile, up to five constraints and expert review.

04

A quantified Point A

Key metrics, periods, formulas, baseline values and data gaps.

05

Target Point B

12-month and three-year goals, the gap and scenario assumptions.

06

30 / 60 / 90-day roadmap

Priorities, owners, resources and a first testable experiment.

Seven GRI areas

We view the business as a system. We check assessments and hypotheses against the data and flag disputed findings and missing facts separately.

  1. 01

    Product and demand

The customer problem, solution value, a segment with the ability to pay and recurring demand.

  2. 02

    Trust and positioning

Offer clarity, evidence of results and differentiation from alternatives.

  3. 03

    Business model

How the company earns: its offer, repeat sales, channels and customer economics.

  4. 04

    Cash flow

Receipt timing, advance payments, commitments and cash visibility.

  5. 05

    Processes

Repeatable workflows, standards, quality control and capacity for higher demand.

  6. 06

    Team

Roles, staffing, management metrics, hiring and execution.

  7. 07

    Founder readiness

Workload, delegation, decision speed and evidence-based management.

We do not use a universal revenue threshold or a single score as proof of readiness. Constraints, supporting evidence and a testable next step matter.

Which lever will we test first?

We will connect the main constraint with the customer, offer, channel and economics. We will choose one first experiment.

The data we will collect

Seven input areas: company and geography; finances; goals; product and competitors; team and roles; management and processes; customer base and sales history.

We will agree the available depth, from general indicators to de-identified sales and CRM exports. Where three years of history are available, we use them to analyse trends and seasonality. We mark missing values as unavailable and record questions and limits on our conclusions.

For the first enquiry, a business description, goal and main question are enough. We will agree the files, access, processing and retention periods before any working data is shared.

Market and competitors

We will review six areas: the size of the accessible market, market dynamics and seasonality, trends, entry barriers, competitors and promising microsegments.

We look for evidenced needs, what customers already pay for and the criteria on which your product could win. For material findings, we record the source, date and assumptions. We do not replace unavailable data with invented market shares or industry benchmarks.

Baseline metrics and the gap to your goal

We will connect sales, customers, retention, finances, the funnel and results from existing AI use cases. For key metrics, we will record the formula, source, period and owner. We will compare plan and actuals on like-for-like data and examine new and repeat purchases, products or channels separately where record quality permits.

Point B is your 12-month goal and three-year direction. We will show the gap and scenario assumptions. Annualising the current monthly pace is an indicator, not actual annual revenue or a guaranteed forecast.

How we choose the main constraints

We will compare findings across the seven GRI areas with evidence, losses, customer impact and team resources. We will identify up to five priority constraints and questions that still need testing.

AI helps structure records and propose explanations. An expert reviews the conclusions and the client confirms the facts. Each priority needs evidence, a scenario-based estimate of the cost of inaction and a testable next step. A low score without context does not determine the decision.

From GRI findings to a 90-day plan

Days 1–30: we clarify the main constraint, resolve critical data gaps and select the first lever.

Days 31–60: we test the priority hypothesis within an agreed scope, compare it with Point A and account for costs.

Days 61–90: we embed a supported solution, change the hypothesis or stop an unviable use case.

We define an owner, deadline, metric, resource and decision criterion for every action. This is a plan for subsequent work; we agree development and experiment execution separately. We can discuss a first focused cycle through Bootcamp, or workflow implementation through an AI pilot.

Working format and scope

We work with the business owner and team. Before starting, we agree the question, analysis depth, your involvement, deliverables, timing and price. During the work, we resolve inconsistencies and confirm findings with the responsible people.

At the end of the analysis, we deliver an agreed baseline and action roadmap. We discuss a live dashboard, automatic updates, CRM and payment integrations, and communication workflows as separate tasks with their own access and implementation terms.

We use GRI as an author-developed framework for analysing growth readiness. It is not independent certification, an investment rating or a promise of a particular revenue level.

Before we start

Where should business growth start if the problem is unclear?

We start with a short discussion of your goal and current situation. We then compare evidence on demand, sales, repeat purchases, margin, cash and team workload. GRI structures the questions and helps select one constraint. If AI does not address it, the first step is a change to the product, offer or workflow.

Can we start without complete records?

Yes. We will describe the available data and gaps and agree an appropriate analysis depth. Incomplete data limits conclusions: missing values do not become zeros or invented metrics.

What is delivered and what is implemented separately?

We will agree the scope before starting. A full analysis covers the baseline, market context, GRI findings, priorities, Point B and a 90-day plan. Dashboard development, integrations, team training and pilot execution are separate work packages.

What do GRI findings mean?

It is a structured profile of seven business areas that supports discussion of constraints. We check assessments against records and interviews. The number of criteria depends on the agreed methodology version; the result does not guarantee growth or investment.

HONOR: turning a business challenge into a connected system

The case describes the customer website, CRM, inventory system and loyalty features. It explains the team’s role and implementation scope. It is an implementation example, not a promise of the same financial result for your business.
